Emergency Management
The Emergency Management Department is in place to work with all other town departments and offices to provide a strategic framework for dealing with all aspects of emergencies. In particular the main aspects are: mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
Working closely with the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, the Franklin Regional Council of Government and other area Emergency Managers, Erving's Emergency Management Department continues to develop and update various plans and information to help the Town's people and infrastructure deal with any size emergency. These plans also identify the Town for future and continued state and federal grants.
